Warm up after a day of kitesurfing the icy Atlantic.

After a day on the water, there's not much that beats a sauna and a hot tub. Add a cold plunge in the pool and a chat with friends, and you've got our favourite way to end the day.

It's not just a nice way to end the day.

Warming up in the sauna and hot tub, then braving the cold plunge, does you a surprising amount of good, especially after a day out kiting in cold water.

Eases sore muscles

Kiting Cape Town's icy Atlantic wrecks your shoulders and legs. The heat loosens everything off, so you're ready to ride again tomorrow.

Boosts your immune system

The hot-then-cold combo gives your body a proper nudge, handy when you're travelling, living in dorms and out in the elements all day.

The best sleep of your trip

There's something about a sauna and a cold plunge that switches your body right off. Guests tell us they sleep like the dead afterwards, not even joking.

You just feel amazing

That warm, glowy, floaty feeling once you're done is a little bit addictive. Try it once and you'll get why it's part of the routine for so many of our guests.
